Sweet and Mean

Today I took a stroll in the yard with my camera.

A pretty butterfly was having some sweetness.
Love me some butterflies.

Then I came up on this mean wasp.

He was busy and distracted easy.

Then I found this meanies home.

This has got to come down ! Have you ever
been stung by a wasp?  It hurts !

Pond and River Disease

Tonight on the news they were talking of kids that
have died from a disease in ponds and rivers.

If  know someone that swims in these areas
please read this article.

The water is dangerous when it heats to 80 degrees.
The infectious microbes enters in the nose and goes
directly to the brain.

Busy and Humid

It's been so hot and humid.  Last night I pushed mowed
around the house and while Garry was weed eating. Every
inch of my clothes and hair were wet and my face was so red.
A cold shower felt wonderful afterwards.

I've been in the cleaning mode.
This past weekend I cleaned out my closet.
Since having plantar fasciitis I can no longer wear my dress
shoes, so they all went to Goodwill. Sent 2 large trash bags
of clothes to a family to see if they could wear any of my
dresses and tops. Also flip flops that I had never worn.

Tonight it was the kitchen cabinets. I have a large cupboard
and it was a mess with no where to put food. Now all the can
foods are in order, old medicines trashed, plastic cups gone.
Looks empty now!

The bathroom closet is on the list for next week.

Counter Tops

My counter tops are solid surface.

Last year I had gotten a cleaner from Lowe's that made
them shine. Then you might know it, they stop carrying it.
So I purchased Magic that had they offered for my surface.

Big mistake, turned my counter tops were dull. I believed
this stuff stripped the finish off. Every time I went in Lowe's
I would look for something else.

Last night while at Lowe's I picked up a can of Granite Polish
and headed to the back to the counter tops. Found the solid surface
samples and asked the sales guy if he had a rag. The look he gave me
was priceless. Then I explain what happen with the Magic and
I wanted to try this polish before spending more money.

The granite polish  have other surfaces listed you could
use it on and to my surprise, it worked !

Now I have my shine back and I'm happy .... happy !

Cleaning

I have decided that I'm behind on scrubbing the house.

Sure I clean every week and always trying to keep things
neat and in their place. But deep cleaning is needed. Maybe
it's OCD kicking in.

Last night while Garry was working on the lawn, I was
upside down in the den.  Every thing that I could move
was in the middle of the floor.

After 2 hours everything was wiped and clean and floors mopped.

I would love to sit here on the computer or watch tv, but I'm in the mood
to clean and rid anything I have not used since we moved in the house.

Sure, I worked today and I'm tired from dealing with charts and unpacking
more boxes (office it being updated with carpet and wallpaper) but I love
a clean house!

Tonight it's my closet, Goodwill here I come.

Puddles lab results

This afternoon Garry talked with Dr. Lucky about Puddles.

The blood work didn't show any cancer cells.
That's the best news!

He's going to be on an antibiotic for 30 days just incase it
may be tick fever or he has a bad infection somewhere. 

Well we know something is going on because of the cyst
on his leg and it didn't come up for nothing. Maybe the
antibiotic will make the cyst go away.

Puddles

Last Monday Garry and I took Puddles to the vet (Dr Lucky).

He had a cyst like tumor that had come up
on the inside of his back leg we wanted checked.

Dr Lucky said he thought it was just a cyst and took a fluid
sample. He checked the fluid and said he didn't see any
cancer cells. We decided on surgery to remove it and also
have Puddles teeth cleaned while he was sleeping.

Before the surgery lab work had to be done for clearance.

Tuesday Dr Lucky called and Garry talked with him. The
blood work was not good. Puddles red and white blood count
was bad and wanted us to bring back in for more blood work.
The surgery was cancelled for now.

Wednesday Garry took him back and Dr Lucky said he wanted
to check him for Leukemia. Our hearts were broken and I cried
a lot. He's been with us for 9 years and we love him alot.

Now we're waiting, for the pathology results.
I suppose tomorrow will be the day.

We both are worried and pray nothing shows up. He's acting find
and you would never know that something it wrong.

Great Trip

We made it home safe from our 5 day
camping trip to the beach.

The RV did great with no problems and it didn't rain on us
at all. Which was a plus due to it raining everywhere else.

We did a little shopping, eating out at different restaurants,
watched a show at the Alabama Theater and rested.

Last year on July 5th we had a 2nd ac installed in the RV.
During the day it was so hot that Garry would turn the 2nd
ac on and it made such a difference. With it 90 outside the RV
was 70 inside. Adding the 2nd ac is going to be worth the money.

It will be a while until our next trip,
but I already have a place in mine to go.

Love camping with my guys.

July Camping

Thursday at 1:00 we arrived at the beach.

This campground is very nice and Garry's favorite place.
No sand, sites are huge with concrete and grass. Also
a huge lake with paved walk around it.

Willow Tree RV Resort

We have been lucky, no rain here at the beach.
Its hot, but the RV is cold inside with our 2nd air running.

Tonight we have tickets at the Alabama Theatre
 to see the One Show .

Wordless Wednesday

Busy Monday

It's been a busy day at work.
Monday's are always hard at a doctors office.
But 5:00 does come and the day is over !

I ran home and grilled burgers. Put in a load
of laundry and was finished by 6:00.  yeehaw !

Garry has a new Driod phone, so we have been
working with it getting everything set up like he wants.
Right now he has internet but no texting, that will be next.
One thing at a time makes life much easier.

Romonia (sister) fell down her back door steps this morning
and injured her arm. The xrays showed no breaks, but she's
in pain and can't straighten her arm out. She will go to an
orthopedic if it doesn't show signs of getting better.
