We live 2 miles outside of a small town.
All of us on our road have land that we farm out to the same guy.
The wheat was ready for cutting, then the straw was bailed.
A fun night to do nothing !

We live 2 miles outside of a small town.
All of us on our road have land that we farm out to the same guy.
The wheat was ready for cutting, then the straw was bailed.
Tonight several of us from work went out for dinner.
Only 1 of us had been to the Melting Pot, so we checked it out.
Mom turned 80 on June 3rd.
As always Garry and I start our camping Easter weekend at the beach.
We had great weather and a wonderful time.
The 1st day my rope hammock fell. For some reason the S hook came
Erika posted on facebook Jayce working in the yard.
Like most boys, he loves the outside.
I love this time of the year!
When Garry walked out the back door this morning,
4 deer were standing behind our camper.
They are beautiful and I love having them around the house.
Tonight we had the most breath taking sunset.
This past weekend has been wonderful.
I love being outside.
Listening to the birds sing is such a happy feeling.
Saturday Garry helped me wash the Tahoe.
It was covered with salt and was needing a good hand wash.
Could not hardly see out the back up camera.
In the winter I store my ponytail palms in the utility room.
I rolled them out and watered them good. Took forever for
the water to run out of the bottoms, sure were dry.
Next was a job I hate, cleaning the grill.
I use oven cleaners and it works great, but you have
to make sure every thing is rinsed well.
Some of our buttercups are blooming, spring is in the air!
I leave you with this cute pic, Jayce is growing up to fast.
Taking Puddles out to do his business is not
fun when it's 8 degrees.
We live on a hill and the cold winds are like
minus 0. The great thing is we never lost our
power during the ice storm.
Getting ready to go outside, nice and warm.
We were hit by an ice storm like most of the people in our area.
Lucky for us we have not lost our power and that's a plus.
There is no way to walk on this stuff.
I had gotten Jayce a box of candy for Valentines.
Just look at those smiles.
Boy has it been a hard week for all my co-workers.
My office is owned by a huge healthcare system and they
are changing the offices to a new care redesign process.
This means, everyone has to learn new ways of doing their
jobs that will serve the patients better.
One of our Doctors is now starting at 7am and this week was my
week to go in early so the front desk girl will be not there alone.
It was nice leaving at 4pm, but going in at 6:45 was a little hard.
I pray that things get better and much easier for the staff.
Several of the long time girls are suffering from additional job
functions and all the changes. One of them has decided to retire
early and another one is considering it.
Most of my co-workers that have been with me for
26 + years, hate to see any of them leave!

Today the girls (4) that answer our phones will be going
to another building (centralizing the dept),
Thursday night we had a dinner for them. We laughed
and cried. Going to miss them so much. One of them
has worked with me for 20 years and a dear friend.
I can't believe its been a month since my last post.
Suppose there is nothing exciting going on during the winter.
Garry's new truck died on us and had to be towed.
It just about didn't fit on the flat bed.
