Vacation Trip

Vacation Trip: We had a great vacation camping with some friends.

The weather was perfect, not to hot.

Enjoyed a day trip to the zoo.

Chis was goat whispering.

My kind of day !

My kind of day !:

It's been such a beautiful day

Time on the beach

Then a movie to see, The Lucky One.

Later I decided a walk on the beach would be nice.
But I was really surprised what I was fixing to see !

Several police trucks were on the beach and lots of people
gathered, so I walked that way.

People had seen some thing floating in the water and the
cops were on top of their trucks with binoculars looking.

I was afraid the someone had died, so I continue to walk.

On my way back I saw 2 guys really far out in the ocean and
it looked like that were pulling some thing to shore.

I stopped and asked a couple what was it and they said a turtle.
Thank goodness it was not a person, so I stayed.
 
I will never again be able to witness the rescue of a 50 year
old sick turtle from the ocean. It was huge and looked heavy.

Some one was there that knew about them and said it was
trying to get to shore.

Another truck arrived and they loaded it up. I asked what
would happen to it now and they told us (she) would be
taken to a hospital in Charleston, SC.

I hate the other didn't get to see it,
but I didn't have my phone with me.

(will take little camera next time)

Birthday Friend

Birthday Friend: We celebrated a birthday today
Ally, our dear friend.

Lighting

Lighting:
It's been such a busy and strange week.

Our friends learned Tuesday that their RV had been hit by
lighting and the wiring was bunt. Last Wednesday we had
a very bad storm so that had to be when it happen.

They were getting the rv ready for a big camping trip next
week is why the problem was just discovered.

Lighting hit the radio antenna and ran inside the rv, burnt a hole
inside the cabinet hitting the radio, tv and power converter.
Surprising the whole thing didn't burn up!

Garry called another friend and worked on it for 2 nights.
The power converter was replaced and power is back on.

Now to deal with the insurance co to pay for the
converter, tv, radio and labor to fix it all.

At least they can still go on vacation.

That is a lesson for us to check the rv
1-2 weeks prior to vacations.

Baby Sister, Romonia

Baby Sister, Romonia:
My baby sister, Romonia (she's 40+)
had surgery last Wednesday.

She could not breathe out her nose so they fixed a
Deviated septum and 2 other procedures to try and help.

Bless her heart, she has had the roughest time.
Bleeding for 5 days and not sleeping or eating, in lots of pain.

Today she went back to work for a few hours to process payroll.
Then ended up staying all day, she's so hard headed !

I just spoke with her and she's doing better, but so so tried.

Please pray that she continues to do better and will be able to rest.

We love you Monia, take care and don't over do it!!
