Anniversary

Garry and I were married 38 years ago today !

Lucky for us, we enjoy the same things.

Its fun to look back at pictures, boy have we changed.

Yesterday I was looking back at some vacation pictures.

These were taken several years ago while at Silver Springs, FL.

I just love this one, big eyes .

Refrigerator

Our refrigerator was only 7 years old and it started acting up.
The fan was making a noise and it was not staying cold.

So we decided to buy a new one and so far we like it.

Samsung French Door

 

I like having all the room up top, the shelves can slide back or tilt
up for larger items. Having 2 ice makers will be nice also.

Hope this one last longer than 7 years.

Fuzzy Trees

This past fall Garry had our trees trimmed
that were near the house.

The limbs were so large and when the wind would
blow they really rocked, which made me nervous.

They are starting to fill in with leaves instead of just sticks.

This one in the back yard is going to be really pretty.
Much better cut with the RV sitting near it.

 Speaking of RV, 2 more weeks and it's beach time!

No Power

Last night Garry and I both went to bed at 10pm.

No more then 30 mins later I saw a flash and then no power.
This is not good, no air and my fan was silence. It's to quite
and I need my fan blowing in my face to sleep.

Garry walked outside to see what the problem was.
A dang snake hanging from top of the power pole
across the road. He was the devil than turned off
our power and now he's fried !

About 2 hours later a small power truck came to see what the
problem was since no others had called in a power outage.
Garry walked out to meet him and now he had to wait
for a bigger truck with bucket.

Finally at 3am we were saved, power back on.
Fan blowing in my face and only 3 more hours to sleep.

I hope those dang snakes stay in the woods
where they belong!      I hate snakes !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mimosa Trees

Several years ago Vickie (sister) and Dennis gave us 2 little mimosa
tree plants. They were small and fragile and not sure they would live.

This year they finally have blooms and are doing so well.

Look like feathers.

Family Cookout

Tonight we had a family cookout.
Every one came except for Erika (niece) and her family.
They were enjoying themselves at the beach.

Mom and my aunt Pauline even enjoyed playing corn hole.

Morgan (niece) with her throwing style played a game with uncle Robert.

The weather was wonderful and I love having everyone together!

Sweet Dreams

Puddles bed is always on my side of
the bed, even in the RV.

When he's settled in and ready for sleep,  he
will lay halfway on his back and side.

His left leg in the air with the paw dropped
down and his back legs spread out.

This doggie can snore, don't think he would wear
a C-Pap machine.  hehehe

He's over weight, but really looks so fat in the pic.

We love this little fellow, Sweet Dreams !

Wordless Wednesday

Frying Pan

Our friends had gotten a new GreenLife  frying pan
and they love it. Can even put it in the oven.

Since mine was looking bad, Garry got
us a 12 inch one and I used it today.

A little oil and okra. Perfect, no stick!
I love it and going to buy the smaller pan.

Janice's Birthday

While we were on vacation my dear friend
Janice celebrated her birthday.

In the past years they have had 4 cats that meant

a lot to them. Unfortunately, they are

gone now due to sickness.

Dusty was their last baby and it was

so sad when he got sick.

While in Pigeon Forge we visited a shop that

sand blasted words in large stones.  

 

A perfect present for Janice. 

Engraved stone with the cat's names and

a little cat playing with a butterfly.

 

This guy was our engraver, very nice guy.

But, it's heavy and wanted me to hurry.

Tonight we surprised Janice with her

memory rock and she loved it.

She had been wanting something with their names on it.

Happy late Birthday Janice, love ya !

Birthday Dad & Sister

Today is my dad and younger sister's birthdays

I miss my dad more than words can explain. But I know
he's in a better place and I look forward to being
with him again someday!

And then there is my spoiled brat sister, Romonia.
She was 6 when Garry and I were dating
and went on many dates with us.

She cried when we got married (standing beside me).
Guess it was cause dad and myself both were crying.

Romonia (Mona) always has something going on.
Yes, she is spoiled and knows it.

Back Home

We made it home safe and sound.

No events with the RV and that's
always a plus!

Going to miss the mountain views and home made
apple pies with great tasting ice cream.

A beautiful day to be driving.

These towers on I40 are so funny.
Brings attention to them more this way.
A tree that high, not!

 

Back to work tomorrow and reality.
Waiting on next trip, July 4th to beach.
