Tonight when we got home from having dinner
Garry spotted a deer.

Then he saw another one.

I hurried, unlocked the door getting my camera with the zoom lens.
I walked slow (fast) toward them.

They didn't run and then I saw 3

I walked closer and closer. They just stood watched me.

And them there were 4 !

It was getting dark, so I let them be and came back to the house.
Sure hope they don't get in the road tonight and meet a car.

Friends

Janice and Rick have been our friends for years.

Puddles just loves it when they visit.

When Garry found Lucky in a parking lot she was only a few days old.
Janice and Garry worked for hours using a dropper feeding her.
Don't think any of us thought she would make it that night.

Years later she is still with us.

Vacation

We always take a week vacation in the Spring and Fall.

This time we didn't know where we wanted to go.
Disney, Beach, Mountains, Amish country, we had no ideal.

Garry said we could go to the beach and just relax.
Sitting by the ocean with my feet in the sand is good.

So I called the Travel Park where we always stay and no sites
were open that our rig could fit in. Guess that ideal is out.

With it being a holiday day week end, this could be a problem.
I called a little campground in the mountains that we like.

With only 2 sites open, I took booked one.

Pigeon Forget Tn,  Pine Mountain RV Park

We enjoy the mountains so I'm excited to get a site.
The beach will see us soon, July 4th.

Jayce

Some of you many remember when my niece
Erika had her son, Jayce.

He sure has grown, 14 months later:

He's so excited about feeding himself.

Have to meet up with them soon at the park for a photo shoot!

Dirty Face

Puddles loves to sniff around the yard.

But he also likes to stick his nose in the dirt
and sometimes try to eat it.

It's hard to keep a white doggie white!

Visitors

Today was a beautiful day and a little cooler.

We had several visitors today on the hill.
All were welcome except for one.

Our neighbors dog always tries to sneak up the lower
drive way.  He's home alone a lot, so I don't know if he's
looking for scrap food that we throw out or nosey.

Our friendly woodpecker showed up.
He's been pecking on the gutters and it's so loud.

Then the Fox Squirrels decided to show up and
play around in the trees.

This little hummingbird stayed around for a while.
Suppose he/she was hungry.

And then this ..... LIZZARD !

I hate them !! Garry would not kill him, dang it.
 (yes, it's outside)

Now that's country living folks.

Today Garry turned another year older !

We had dinner with some family and a neighbor friend.

Best Friends

Today Puddles and Lucky were sharing Puddles
bed to watch the fox squirrel.

Every time the door is open, Puddles is right there.
He will not lay on the hardwood floors so this is his day bed.

Wonder what they are thinking?

I'm sure the squirrel had an eye on them also.

This is such a tragedy in Boston.
It's happening more and more.
I wonder what is in the future for USA.

These people did nothing and my prayers are with them.
