Summer is here, so get outside and enjoy!

Puddles

This morning Garry said Puddles was not feeling well.
While walking outside, he wanted to eat grass.

When I got home this afternoon, Garry was rocking
him and said he had been really sick. He had cleaned
his face / ears and had the rug in front of the sofa was in
the washer.

Garry gave him a dose of pepto bismol to coat his stomach.

Puddles continued to lay his head down and didn't move.
I thought about taking him to the vet, but we decided
to wait a little while since the ER vet was open all night.

I knew we had to get water in him, when Garry said
how much he had vomited. He loves ice, so I held
it for him a while and he loved it. Then we got his travel
bottle and he licked the ball on the end for a long time
getting the perfect amount of water out.

After an hour of messing with him, he finally started
walking around and would eat several pieces of cat
food, which he always begs for.

At 8pm he finally eat his dinner and is doing so
much better. We will continue to give him water out
of his thermos, so we will know the water intake.

He's now follow us around the house and is doing
his favorite thing, laying in front of his fan.

Wordless Wednesday

Butterfly

We don't normally see many butterflies around the
house. But this morning this guys was in the carport.

He's is such a beauty and the colors are much
prettier in person.

Since it's father's day, wonder if one of our dad's
sent this beautiful and pleasant butterfly to us.
He's been around the back door for 5 hours now.

Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to our dads.

They are together in heaven and one day
we will be able to rejoice with them.

We were blessed to have sure great dads
that served the Lord.

Chili’s Tablet

Garry and I had a late dinner tonight night at Chili's.

We were surprised to see tablets on all the tables.

(not our dessert)

Dad's / Sister's Birthday

Today is my Dad and sister, Romonia's birthday.

I miss my Dad so dang much!
Sure he is a wonderful place, but I still
wish he was here with us. Some day I
will be able to see him again.

Love you Daddy!

Romonia turned 46 today.
She is 12 years younger than me, spoiled and knows it. 

 Happy Birthday Daddy and Romonia !

Mom's Birthday

Today my sweet mom turned 79.

Love her so much and I have to admit, I'm
just like her. That could be good or bad,
just kidding mom!

She still works every day, sitting with an older lady.

I love my time with her and cherish every moment.
We are always up to something!

Surgery Day 6

I have backed off the ice packs,
but continue to use the creams.

It felt so good Friday to be able to take
 a shower and wash my hair.

The stitches are stating to bother me, so I'm looking
forward to Thursday when they are removed.

Would I do this again, oh yes.
I am happy with my results so far.
