I have to stay that tele-markers get under my skin.

They always call at wrong times and if I want to
purchase or donate, I will contact them.

Today I learned that mom had fallen and not told anyone.
This upset me and as soon as I walked in the house my
cell phone started ringing.

Card member services is all I allowed her to say.
I started yelling and screaming at her.
"This is my mobile and don't you ever call me again"

I knew the call was tele-marketing since I use our home
phone number for all finance contacts.

I have never been one to yell, but today was her day.
Garry even said me "Who was that".

Again I went online and registered all the cell phones under
the do not call. It may work or not, but it's done anyway.

Do you sit and listen to tele-markers when they call?

(more on mom tomorrow, she's scraped and bruised, but ok)

Go away .... Winter

This winter I have been attacked.
Yes attacked, by the winter budge!

My scales are laughing at me and crying for help!
I feel every pound gained, have to do something about it!

I'm ready for Spring with family cook outs and
blooming flowers, just being outside.
Ready to wax the RV and hitting the road with it.
We have reservation for Easter at Willow Tree RV Resort near
Myrtle Beach. I need to decided where we are going for our
Spring vacation. Think it may be the mountains or more north.

Happy Sunday !

Valentines Dinner

All the restaurants were packed last night so Garry and
I had our Valentine's dinner this afternoon at Logans.

Our waitress said that last night the wait time was 2 hours.
It's hard to believe some people will wait that long, not us.

After a early dinner, we headed to Walmart for groceries.
People were every where, think most were stir crazy from
being stuck inside for 2 days.

The shelves were empty of many things including the
meat counter. It looked like they were having a close out.

Wonder where we shopped before Walmart?
Bet we had more money and less stuff!

Back to Work

The sun has come out and all the snow is starting to melt.

My office was opening at noon and since the road had
been scrapped I would not have a problem. Garry called
me once he was at work to give me the main road conditions.

Our driveway was a mess, so I put the Tahoe in 4 wheel
drive auto and didn't have a problem at all.

It was so good to get out since I'm not a stay at home person.
Mom has always said I was born with wheels under my butt.
Between me and you, she was to. She goes some where every day.

I've had be dose of snow, now I'm ready for Spring!

Snow Day 3

This has been the most snow we have had in 10 years.

Ice hit us hard last night and this morning it was so pretty.
Our county doesn't have many snow plows, so the neighbors do it.
I'm sure they were having fun !
Wonder how many people ask themselves,
"why have the plows not been on our road".

Lucky for us we still have power!

Beautiful Snow Day

The snow started around 6am and fell all day.
The roads stayed clear and our drive home
was really nice with the views.

Once home (3pm) I opened my blinds and enjoyed
the beauty that God has sent us.

Red birds were every where enjoying their sunflower seeds.
Feeders about empty again.
Not sure what the little yellow bird is, but he was darling.

The was just the beginning of the storm.
Tomorrow we are suppose to have more snow with ice.

Snow Storm

We have another storm heading our way.

The weather guy says we could get 6-12 inches
of snow and then ice.

Now this will shut down every thing around us.

Mom is ready for the stuff since she will be house
bound until it's all gone.

I will be at home also, do not drive in the stuff and our office will close.

I don't know how in the world a house can get so dirty.
Garry and I always pick up behind ourselves.

I believe the dust bunnies hide and once I'm finished
cleaning they run out and play.

The one thing I love to use is a cleaner with Clorox in it.
The smell is so fresh and sanitizing.

Scrubbing Bubbles, Soft Scrub with beach, Clorox Bleach
Foaming, Vinegar (hard wood floors), Windex, Pledge
and solid surface counter top cleaner are some items I use.

What do you use for cleaning?
I may find something that does the job better.

Happy cleaning Saturday!
