Hayride

Tonight Garry, Mom, Morgan (niece)
Thomas and I went on the hayride.

The ride was in the woods with live scenes of the Bible.

The last scene was Hell (building we walked thru). People
were screaming and trying to get us to help them. I was
leading and once in the complete darkness area, we could not
find our way out. Finally some one way in the back turned
on their cell phone and the light helped us. To be in a place
you have never been in and total darkness was really tough
just like it will be in Hell!

Several of the churches put together this event and it was
really good. Many of the scenes were scary and made you
think about life and death.

Holy Ghost Hayride

This was their 15th annual hayride and with all the
sponsors they have, I'm sure it will continue. If you live in
the area, make plans to attend next year.

Party

Tonight we celebrated Jack's (friend) 75th birthday.
He's such a sweet and caring man.

We had oyster stew cooked outside in a huge black cast iron
pot over a fire and hot dogs. There are also plenty of
desserts that some of the ladies had made.

It was fun but the weather was a little cold and coats
were required. Some of us also blankets to cover our legs.
Maybe we can all get together again when it's a little warmer.

Beach Week

We have been on vacation this past week at the beach.

With Puddles being sick I waited to late to book a campsite in
the mountains, since the leaves were near peak. So we are
always happy to hit the beach.

It was a nice week, went on another Dolphin cruise (saw nothing)
and saw the Legends Concert (was really good).

The cruise was 3 1/2 hrs and the weather was wonderful.

Several huge gambling boats pasted us coming in,
Shrimp Boat,
Sail Boat, plus many others.
On the beach several were fishing.
These guys were way out in the water (had my zoon lens).
This little bird was working hard for it's lunch.
Even the stink bugs were soaking up the sun.
This one was attached to our window, not one bit cute.
Enjoyed our time away and doing what ever we wanted to do.
"Love me some beach"

The bad news is we go back to work tomorrow.
No camping until Thanksgiving.

Beans and Deer

The deer are on the move.
Last night Garry saw one standing right on the
edge of highway. Sure hope no one hits him.

This guy was watching me, while I was watching him.
He's enjoying the beans, while they last.

Some the beans are ready for harvest.
It's suppose to rain Sunday night and Monday, so
I'm sure they will be working a while today.

Hope the beans are good like our corn crop was last year,
but it looks kinda thin. Well some $$ is better than nothing!
