Today was my 1/2 day off at work, so I decided
several weeks ago to take the whole day.
This morning I woke at 7 am.
Can't believe I get up so early when off work.
After looking outside and saw this I headed back to bed.
Didn't wake up until 10 am, which is odd for me.
Once dressed and a load in the washer, I headed
to Knife and Fork Restaurant for breakfast.
Eggs, bacon, grits and toast... yummy !
Next on my list was
Needed a few things, but didn't want to fight the Walmart crowd.
Was surprised at the sale prices.
Black pants reg $21 on sale $3.99.
They had my name on them.
Face toner, cotton balls, eye liner pen and cleaning supplies.
Enjoyed just taking my time and looking for bargains.
I even had dinner started when Garry got home.
Pork chops, mashed potatoes, okra, biscuits
Wish every day could be like this one.
But I have a few more years to work.

The fog is beautiful, but I sure wouldn't want to be out in it. K-Mart has good sales. I usually go to Walmart because it is closer, but once in a while I will take a road trip. Glad you had a relaxing day.
It's nice to take a ME day every now and then. We all need them!
